All Hallow's Eve...

 Fairies and witches...
Pirates and skeletons...
And ninja knights...
Oh my...

A truly "spook"tacular evening...

Life Through My Lens - November sunrise...

I suppose that some may be tired of seeing a sunrise through my lens.

They wouldn't be wrong in feeling perhaps that sunrises have taken up more than their share of this space...

Yet, still I am compelled to capture the dawning of day when I can.

Perhaps it stems from the desire to believe that inherent in each sunrise is the hope of a new and better day.
Perhaps it comes from the desire to remember others who loved to watch as shadows of night crept away replaced by tendrils of daylight spreading across the sky.

All I know is that when I stepped outside to see the rosy glow of morning reflected on the world around me I knew I needed to capture it before it was gone, never to be reclaimed.

So, feeble as my words may be...

Inadequate as my lens and skills may be to capture it in it's glory...

Here is my

November sunrise...

And it came to pass...

As part of a family home evening celebrating their finishing 1st Nephi,
the H's invited me over for a little archery competition...

and I mean... little... lol..

To finish off the evening we had bow and arrow pretzels for refreshments...

Your creativity truly amazes me Allisha... :-)

Thanks for letting me join in the fun. :-)

Weekly Media - Don't Laugh At Me

We observed Red Ribbon Week in our school this week. At the end of the week we had an assembly to encourage students to not bully one another.
This video was shared as part of the presentation. I thought I'd share it here as a reminder to all of us that we are all different and unique. May we all be a gift to those need our support.
Remember...
"In God's eyes we're all the same...Someday we'll all have perfect wings..."

Life Through My Lens - The pumpkin patch...

Some very kind and good friends invited me to join their family on a little excursion to a local pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago. It was a pretty fun evening and definitely reminded me that fall is here.

Thanks, my dear friends, for inviting me...
